Despite how difficult it can be to get to, Jones Beach is one of my favorite venues in New York, particularly in the summer. First of all, you can’t beat watching a concert outdoors in the summer. Secondly, the views are spectacular. Last year, I saw The Script & OneRepublic perform at Jones Beach Theater and it was absolutely amazing. Here’s all the information you could ever want on upcoming concerts at Jones Beach.
Dave Matthews BandTickets
Tuesday, June 9, 2015
Dave Matthews and Co. will be hitting the road again this summer for their 2015 North American Tour beginning May 13th and running through September. To make things interesting, Dave Matthews Band will be playing two-set nights at a number of stopovers. The band first tried this out on their tour last year, playing two full sets a night which included both electric and acoustic tracks that spanned across their long and fruitful career. We’re extremely happy that this iconic jam band is not only still touring, but is giving fans two sets that feel as seamless and entertaining as one. Since jam bands (sadly) seem to be a thing of the past, we’re glad this legend is still around.

Kicking off June 23rd in Tampa Florida is Def Leppard’s massive North American Tour with Styx, bringing two of the most iconic rock bands together for a series of 40 dates. The tour will coincide with the band’s first album of new material since 2008’s Songs from the Sparkle Lounge. There isn’t a lot of information circulating about the currently untitled album, but Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has hinted that the band may be moving in a more “experimental” direction. What this means, we have no idea. But with 15 new songs ready for the upcoming tour, Def Leppard is more than ready to usher themselves, and their devoted fans, into the next stage of their career. For some old + new songs from vets in the rock industry, catch Def Leppard and Styx on tour this summer!

Jimmy Buffet is viewed as a pop culture icon thanks to laid-back classics like “Margaritaville” and “Cheeseburger in Paradise” that appeal to the beach bum in all of us. Born and raised in the Gulf Coast area, Buffett took that easygoing lifestyle with him when he moved to Nashville to start his career, and it is clearly reflected in his music. Throughout his career, he has recorded almost thirty albums, many of which have been certified gold or platinum. Together with his Coral Reefer Band, he regularly sells out huge concert venues to his devoted fan base, affectionately referred to as Parrotheads.
